February- Top 5 Outdoor Activities


1-Take a walking or skating tour of The Forks Arctic Glacier Winter Park, day or night. Skate on over a full kilometre of groomed skating trails along magically lit paths to the CN stage rink. Or take a twirl under The Canopy, glide under the lights on the Historic Rail Bridge or simply walk the site and take in the thousands of beautiful lights along the way.
2-Grab your toboggan and slide down any of the hills on site. Look for the Ai Wei Wei Forever Bicycles Sculpture (made of 1254 bikes) for a great backdrop to your sledding. 
3-Discover a winter wonderland at FortWhyte Alive where snowshoeing, skiing, skating, ice fishing, birding, and tobogganing on one impressive slide are all on the menu this winter.
4-Celebrate the region's fur trade, Métis, and Francophone history amongst giant snow sculptures, French food, and so much live music at Festival du Voyageur - Western Canada's largest winter festival (February 18 - 27, 2022)
5-Enjoy the serene beauty of Assiniboine Park -enjoy skiing on the groomed cross-country ski trails, skating on the Duck pond or tobogganing on Toboggan Hill
